Gabriele Compostella holds a Ph.D. in Particle Physics from the University of Trento, Italy. He now works as a Data Scientist at the Volkswagen Data:Lab in Munich, where he focuses on machine learning, applied AI and big data analytics. Before joining Volkswagen he worked for 10 years as an academic researcher, contributed to physics experiments at Fermilab and at CERN, and was a member of the ATLAS collaboration during the exciting times of the discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012.
